Ali leads the Microsoft Alumni Network as executive director. Ali started at Microsoft in 1992 and enjoyed an 11-year career at the company. She held various sales and marketing roles in multiple locations — from Chicago to Northern California field offices, to countless building on the Redmond campus. Prior to joining the Alumni Network’s leadership team, she spent 11 years running her boutique professional services company, which conducted business with Microsoft. Ali’s superpower is connections. Becky joined the Alumni Network team as Editorial Director in April 2017, after more than 26 years as a journalist. She spent the bulk of her career in the Greater Seattle area covering the dynamic business community, including 18 years as Assistant Managing Director of the Puget Sound Business Journal. She’s thrilled to be helping Microsoft alumni connect and telling stories of alumni who have gone on to do amazing things Beyond the Blue Badge. Becky joined the Alumni Network team as Editorial Director in April 2017, after more than 26 years as a journalist. She spent the bulk of her career in the Greater Seattle area covering the dynamic business community, including 18 years as Assistant Managing Director of the Puget Sound Business Journal. She’s thrilled to be helping Microsoft alumni connect and telling stories of alumni who have gone on to do amazing things Beyond the Blue Badge. She’s an Iowa native and theater geek who is proud to be on the board of Book-It Repertory Theatre in Seattle. -

She brings her business management background to guide our accounting and business operations, keeping an eye on our financials and making sure we’re maximizing our resources for member benefits. Crystal joined the Alumni Network in 2015 after a 24-year career at Microsoft. While at Microsoft, Crystal held roles in many teams, including marketing accounting, operations, corporate services, supplier diversity, events, consumer customer support, and advertising and online.Crystal Wilson

Colin joined the Microsoft Alumni Network team as a volunteer in October 2015 and grew into a staffer when we realized his value in triaging tech issues. Today, he’s the platform administrator and IT manager, responsible for many of the back-end processes that keep our website running smoothly and workflows related to delivering benefits to the alumni community. Colin is a graduate of Whittier College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.Colin Moris

Her first role was in product support, troubleshooting software issues with Microsoft customers. Next, she worked in training where her specialties were “delighting the customer” and developing technical courseware. Finally, she was program manager for Microsoft’s largest partners, providing training for their engineers. After Microsoft, she volunteered for many local organizations, designed websites, and served on nonprofit boards.Lisa Nolte

Tameka McNair was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her journey as the “first” of her family for many milestones and so often the “only” African American woman engineer in a corporate setting has had an indelible effect on her life philosophy, career aspirations, and personal mission – to empower every person to find their purpose and be their best self. Tameka is currently a director of program management in HR for the VivaHR Employee Experiences team at Microsoft. She draws from her diverse professional experience in a variety of industries, such as energy, retail, and manufacturing.Tameka McNair

Dawn Trudeau spent over 20 years in the software industry and 14 years at Microsoft, where she led divisions in Database and Development tools as well as Consumer Products.
